“The Men of the Century” is a World War II living history organization which proudly portrays and interprets the fighting men from the 100th Infantry Division by specifically portraying the men of 2nd Platoon, Company ‘B’, 1st Battalion, 399th Infantry Regiment. We are devoted to historical accuracy and therefore our impressions are created from consulting a wide variety of primary sources ranging from S-4 reports to photographs, memoirs to interviews, and everything in between.
Through our historical interpretation at various living history events throughout the year, we focus on educating the public about the experiences of those who served in the 100th Infantry Division. To further that aim we also routinely go to various archives in order to research the unit, donate materials to the George C. Marshall Foundation, interview surviving veterans from the division, and write articles for consumption by the wider public.
