
This was taken sometime in combat, I think it was at Ludwigshafen. Notice all the junk that was carried in the pockets, and the grease spots on my pants from "C" and "K" rations. Germany, 1945.

This is just an example of what the Germans did to all their bridges and overpasses. This was a fairly big bridge too. Vaihingen, Germany. 1945.

Here's another shot of that underground factory. You can see that part of the walls were under construction. Everything was reinforced concrete.

This is the mass grave near Vaihingen. 1500 people are buried in a little plot of ground about 15 feet by 20 feet. You can see the grave markers written in French, Polish, Russian, Jewish, etc. Vaihingen, Germany. 1945.
